Paula Digby tells the “Insiders” during Episode 137 that ‘medical necessity’ means different things to different people. It’s a great perspective. The all-anonymous questions today were from a physician practice point of view. Must a POC (plan of care) be created when a provider (such as a physician) who isn’t a physical therapist performs the modalities? What code would I use for filling out disability forms for a patient? The final query is from a practice that wants to incentivize their employed physicians .
