CPT© Coding Introduction to CPT©-4
In this course the student will gain an understanding of the CPT procedure coding classification system in order to appropriately assign codes for physician and hospital outpatient services. Procedure coding process including classification structure, coding conventions and specific examples will be discussed.

- Relationship to documenting medical necessity and its effect on billing and reimbursement
