We will text you in the hour prior to the start of the next episode, which will be Monday, August 15th. Today’s “Insider’s” topic is dementia, delirium, and encephalopathy. As these words are frequently documented together, are they the same? Heather Bryans shares some of her research into this fascinating topic. During Episode 147, Ms Bryans answered questions from our Anonymous listeners. The first wondered whether it was appropriate to bill code 96127 for depression screening using the PHQ2 tool. Anonymous 2 works in a facility that will soon be providing vaccination for monkey pox. What is the correct way to report this service? Anonymous 3 needs to report replacement of a breast implant. The code seems to imply that the patient had a mastectomy the previous day. Is this the correct code for that service?
