The lower gastrointestinal tract is approximately 25 feet long and consists of the small and large intestines. Within those 25 feet there is plenty of room for a multitude of conditions to exist. From acute and chronic conditions to structural disorders and inflammatory diseases. Sometimes digesting all the code options causes challenges. In this session we will discuss the multitude of options including code selection and sequencing and help you digest the definitions and coding rules; and, understand the necessary details for documentation specificity to educate your physicians which will help put your mind and GI tract at ease!
