It’s here! CPT Updates for calendar year 2022 will be effective beginning January 1st. There are over 400 changes to CPT for 2022.  Listen in as we discuss the significant changes – here’s a preview of some of the topics in this 90-minute session:

  • Learn the difference in Complex Chronic Care and new codes for Principal care management
  • Identify the multiple changes in the Cardiovascular System with new guidelines throughout and new codes for electrophysiologic procedures, as well as, revisions to heart valve procedure codes.
  • Changes in the medicine section for cardiac ablations and cardiac catheterizations.
  •  Analyze new codes used for stereotactic brain surgery and learn how to report the new codes for spine procedures.
  •  Eyes and Ears also include changes that will impact reporting as do radiology with new codes for TBS.

Attendees will be able to:

    • Utilize learned information to identify the major changes in the cardiovascular system section.
    • Describe new immunization codes to those currently in use and utilize them appropriately;
    • Identify new code assignment based on changes to procedures in the gastrointestinal and genitourinary system.
