Gregory J Digby, Ph D, DDS

Dr. Gregory Julian Digby received his Ph.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 2008. Dr. Digby is a dentist who previously worked as a trained drug discovery neuroscientist and pharmacologist.  He has helped lead the development of multiple novel allosteric modulators for treatment of disorders of the nervous system including obesity, Alzheimer’s disease, and Schizophrenia.  Dr. Digby’s expertise is in the early hit-to-lead phase of drug development where he helps select compounds that are potential candidates for clinical drug trials.

He is a member of the National Postdoctoral Association, Life Science Tennessee – Graduate Alliance, the Society for Neuroscience and is a former member of the Biophysical Society.

Dr. Digby prepared lectures for us during his time as a postdoctoral research fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics.
